Tamara & Jacob got married on a chilly March day in Texas. It turned out to be the perfect day to get married– not only because the sun came out just in time for their first portraits as husband and wife, but because if it had been even a week later then they might have had to postpone their wedding along with so many others that have been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. (My heart is with all of you– I truly cannot imagine!) Tamara and Jacob’s wedding was held on a gorgeous property in Schulenburg and had the coolest vibe: classic Italian meets patio bar. Their reception tables were lined with wine bottles, served family-style, and it was abundantly clear that they are surrounded by an amazing tribe of friends and family supporting them and their marriage.
From hanging out in Dallas, all the way to Schulenburg, I have loved getting to know Tamara and Jacob and hear their love story. (You can read a little more about it and relive their engagement photos here). The way they live out their faith is so encouraging. During their ceremony, everyone prayed over them, and the minister shared pieces of each of their testimonies and how they came together in God’s timing. At the reception, everyone laughed and danced the night away before they were sent off for their honeymoon in Cabo!
Tamara and Jacob, it has been such an honor being a part of your special day! I hope you always look back on these photos and remember not only the love you share, but how truly loved and supported you both are by so many people! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Evans!
