personal | emery turns uno!

Well, I officially have a toddl–… Nope. Still can’t say it. But my baby girl turned ONE yesterday, and I just cannot believe I have been so immensely blessed to be her mama for the past 366 days. To celebrate, we had a little fiesta, which (if we’re being honest) was picked mostly because I wanted a reason to buy her this little Mexican dress! (Although, do you really need a reason?) Full disclosure: it is really hard to nail focus and get your baby to smile all while making sure she doesn’t succeed in eating small rocks or crawl away. Mental note: take Dad with us next time. But we had fun taking these, and cacti are added to my list of favorite backdrops! Happy birthday Emery Leigh! Watching you grow is a joy!
