Kayli & Mac are married! From the moment I met them, from our first zoom call and then at their engagement session, Kayli and Mac have been two of the nicest people I have ever met. We showed up to the beautiful HighPointe Estate and were welcomed by some of the most beautiful, bright flowers I have ever had the joy of photographing. The day was filled with a calm energy that radiated joy. Kayli had a sweet, tearful first look with her dad, followed by an equally sweet and tearful “first touch” with Mac, where they exchanged letters with one another without seeing each other.

Kayli and Mac were surrounded by so much love. Their big bridal parties couldn’t contain all the special friendships they clearly had. One thing that my second shooter and I kept talking about was just how nice everyone was. I mean, truly, both families were so kind (which, if you look back to my second sentence, it’s clear the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.) The day threatened thunderstorms, but they held off until the reception, giving us time to get all the photos they wanted with their bridal party and, (my favorite) as husband and wife! Their guests also got to enjoy cocktail hour, complete with lawn games and chips and creamy jalapeño dip. Lightning flashed through the windows as the newlyweds danced the night away with their loved ones! If rain on your wedding day is good luck, then rain that comes at the most convenient time is extra good luck.

Kayli and Mac, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this time in your lives, as you embark on forever together. I can’t wait to see what God has for y’all! Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman!
