Mr. + Mrs. Catalani | Fall Wedding at Dove Ridge Vineyard
Where do I even begin talking about Courtney and Justin’s beautiful day at Dove Ridge Vineyard? These two are the kind of couple that you just know adore each other. I mean, all couples getting married obviously do, but their love was so obvious from the moment I got to know them at their engagement session.
This wedding was filled with laughter and sweet happy tears. From Courtney’s first look with her dad and then of course, Justin, it was obvious that the men in her life love her well. Their vows invoked tears and laughter, as did the speeches given at the reception.
As a mom of four daughters, what always has me tearing up a little is the father/daughter dance, but what surprised me this time was the anniversary dance. If you haven’t been to a wedding with an anniversary dance, it’s where all married couples are called to the dance floor, then slowly told to go sit back down if they’ve been married less than 2 hours, 1 year, 5 years, etc. until the couple that has been married the longest is still on the dance floor. Well, at the Catalani wedding, there were three couples still dancing who had been married longer than 50 years (maybe even 60?!)! People were giving a standing ovation to these couples. It is so special to be surrounded by so many great examples of what love and lifetime commitment look like.
Courtney and Justin, I have loved celebrating y’all since we met! I have no doubt that y’all will follow in the footsteps of your loved ones by staying at each other’s sides through thick and thin until death do you part. I’m excited to see the beautiful life you create together! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Catalani!
